The times when everybody consumed and nobody cared have been forgotten a long time ago. Now we care! And consume energy and nature resources responsibly. It was right about time that someone took the responsibility.
Facts speaking:
According to geologists, if our consumption rates remain the same, world’s lead stocks will come to an end in 18 years, tin stocks - in 20 years, copper stocks - in 25 years and iron - in 64 years.

We all shop at GLOBUL and GERMANOS shops and feel good because even the bags are not what they used to be. They are now made of a special material, called degralen, that decomposes in nature a 100 times faster than the old plastic bags.
Facts speaking:
- If we want to restore the forests that were lost in the last decade, we should plant an area that is 11 times bigger than Bulgaria.
- Degralen — this new ecological material is really appropriate for Bulgaria because of the bad habit of throwing bags everywhere. It is decomposed by light and oxygen.
Team work
We work hard - and it always takes a ton of paperwork. GLOBUL team, however, protects nature while working. All corporate divisions are encouraged to decrease their paper usage and re-use old paper, as well as recycle the paper waste and old toner cartridges. Our old IT equipment and furniture has been donated for years in order to be re-used.
Facts speaking:
- The recycling of one tone of paper waste saves 17 old trees, 800 kg. cellulose, 200 m³ water and 810 КWh of electricity - energy, enough to ssatisfy the needs of a family for 5 months.
- For one year the 17 trees we saved can absorb 114 kg of carbon dioxide. Burning the same quantity of paper (1 tone) will produce 679 kg. of carbon dioxide.
- Approximately 1.1 billion toner cartridges are used worldwide annually. If they are placed in a line, it will be almost 68 times longer than the equator.
