GLOBUL, TEMA MAGAZINE WITH AN OWN FOREST IN BANKYA

GLOBUL and TEMA weekly planted 500 birches in the town of Bankya to celebrate the magazine’s 10th anniversary and 500th issue.
Sofia Municipality Mayor Yordanka Fandakova, Bankya region Mayor Rangel Markov as well as GLOBUL Corporate Affairs Director Yassen Guev and TEMA chief editor Valery Zapryanov attended the event which was held on May 18. The Verdikal district residents will enjoy the new forest and pavilion.
The green initiative was organized by TEMA magazine in order to make up for a part of its environmental footprint. Some 40,000 colored pages were printed out since the magazine launch and for their production the wood from a whole forest was used up. GLOBUL exclusive support for the initiative is part of the company’s long-term strategy for environmental sustainability GLOBUL Green.
