In support of corporate strategy for environment protection GLOBUL Green and in order to preserve valuable recourses, all GLOBUL offices and stores will start using only recycled copy paper as from 15 December 2008.According to data of Conservatree.com, an average of 24 trees is needed for the production of 1 ton of paper. This means that using recycled paper in the office might turn out to have as positive effect on the environment as the efforts for decreasing paper use.
These efforts have been a fact in GLOBUL for quite a while - in 2007 the average consumption of copying paper per employee has decreased by 17% compared to 2006.
